Sun Pharma Recall Antidepressant Drug for Dissolution Failure, Close to Expiry

In May 2023, Sun Pharma initiated recall of two lots of antidepressant drug Bupropion Hydrochloride 150mg Extended release tabletsdue to failure in dissolution during stability studies (Recall Event: 92289). Further in October 2023 (Recall Event ID: 93166) and November 2023 (Recall Event ID: 93472), Sun Pharma recalled two more lots of Bupripion Hydrochloride extended release tables which were expiring in December 2023, two months from recall.
